Buying or Investing in Wine Businesses

GWP represents both corporate and private investors in acquiring businesses.  These services are individually tailored to the buyer’s circumstances. 
Assignments range from assisting in an identified acquisition, seeking targeted acquisitions or broad-based acquisition searches.  Services may include any or all of the following:  formulating acquisition criteria, identifying targets and initiating contact - maintaining client anonymity, negotiating terms and/or raising acquisition financing.

Management Buyouts

GWP assists the management of wine companies in formulating buyout plans. Services may include advising management on alternative approaches, financing sources and structures, presenting the plan to shareholders or directors, negotiating terms of the transaction, and arranging financing.  This arrangement protects the management group’s relationship with the shareholders and other stakeholders.

Strategic Alliances and Joint Ventures

GWP provides financial advisory services to large and small wine companies in the formation of partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.  These relationships may include arrangements for shared or outsourced production, marketing, sales, distribution, shared scale, strategic investments or other mutually-beneficial alliances.
